Thyolo District Council -Backhoe Loader

Thyolo District Council accessed a loan of MK243,572,273 for the procurement of a Backhoe loader, Excavator and maintenance of a grader in July, 2018.
The equipments will be used to hire out and for maintenance of district access roads.
The initiative is aimed at achieving financial independency and improving service delivery to the rural people in the District through improved revenue collection as the result of the hiring out process.
The initiative also intends to increase employment opportunities and accessibility of most rural areas of Thyolo District through improved road infrastructure and network.
